Reimagining a Chalet in Klosters

Nestled in the alpine village of Klosters, among pine forests and snow-capped peaks, this chalet was originally built in 1958 and has been reborn under the creative direction of Miriam Frowein Interiors. Commissioned by an international family, the 400 sqm chalet underwent a full-scale renovation and a 150 sqm extension. The brief was to preserve the soul of the original structure while infusing it with a contemporary sensibility rooted in culture and craftsmanship. Colour and maximalism, both strengths of Miriam's design, were central to the brief.
