Contemporary artwork integrated in a calm and minimalistic space, curated by Miriam Frowein

Miriam’s universe encompasses not only interior design but also the curation of a unique combination of art, objects and key customised pieces to elevate an already established interior.

  • The studio’s professional process begins with an in-depth consultation to understand the client’s vision, needs, and lifestyle. This is followed by conceptual design development, where ideas are explored and refined into detailed plans and presentations. Once the design is approved, the studio oversees all aspects of construction, coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and timelines are met. Finally, the project culminates in the careful installation and styling of the space, resulting in a cohesive and personalised environment that reflects the client’s unique identity.

  • Driven by Miriam’s expertise in contemporary art, art advisory is an essential part of each project. From commissions by emerging talents to collectible works by established artists, site-specific pieces are thoughtfully curated and seamlessly integrated into each space—aligning with the studio’s comprehensive and cohesive design philosophy.

  • Miriam infuses each project with her distinct style and discerning eye—sourcing exceptional pieces from European and American furniture makers and designers spanning the 1930s to the 1990s. She collaborates with cutting-edge contemporary talents, layering each space with bespoke objects and genre-defining pieces. This dynamic approach allows the studio to shape interiors that are both timeless and unique—always thoughtfully tailored to the client.

  • Individual and highly creative bespoke pieces are designed for every project, facilitated by the studio’s vast supplier knowledge and developed relationships with artists, craftspeople, galleries and auction houses. Time is taken to carefully listen to each client’s dreams and aspirations, allowing the studio to craft perfectly tailored design solutions which precisely meet their needs.

  • Miriam Frowein’s inaugural capsule furniture collection made its debut in Cap d’Antibes in Summer 2024. Each piece is available to order and is meticulously hand-crafted in Portugal from refined materials such as burl wood, lacquer and onyx. Miriam’s second brand, Objekti, celebrates the exquisite work of Mexican artisans who create intricate piñas and candelabras.
