Set on a rare lakeside plot with sweeping views of the water and mountains, this three-storey house by Arndt Geiger Herrmann is walled in glass. Over three years, Miriam Frowein gave it warmth: travertine and layered textures, organic forms in blues and greens, and art chosen with the owners. The result, as AD Middle East put it, balances the collectible and the cosy.
